Description and technical specifications
Spaceloft is an aerogel blanket reinforced with polyethylene terephthalate fibers (PET) and textile-grade fibreglass continuous filament.
It’s an aerogel impregnated PET and fiberglass felt with a bulk density of 150 Kg/m³ and available in a 5 and 10 mm thicknesses.
The material is hydrophobic, but it preserves a high breathability. The superior flexibility combined with an excellent compression resistance make this material particularly suitable for use in building and universal applications with operating temperatures in the range from -200°C to +200°C.
The thermal conductivity at 10 °C is 0.013 W/mK.

Spaceloft line aerogels are easy workable, they can be cut using conventional textile cutting tools including scissors, razor knives, electric scissors and punching machines. The extremely low thickness allows the product to be easily conformed to complex shapes, tight curvatures, and spaces with restricted access.
The material is provided as a single continuous sheet (without breaks), rolled up and wrapped, anytime ready, in case of need, to be cut and used.
Product width is 1440 mm. (this value may vary depending on production lot and thickness)
