Aerogel

It's the lightest solid ever conceived having around 90-99% air in volume. Aerogel is the world's best insulator and when it's reinforced with a fibrous blanket, it provides the only products on the market with λ equal to 0,013 W/mK.

Temperature

The Aerogel products cover all application scenarios from -200°C to +650°C with Euroclass reaction to fire from E to A1. The accelerated aging tests have shown that the performances of these materials remain unchanged after 60 years.

Building

Aerogels are the only answer in cases where you are claiming the maximum insulation with minimum thickness. The use of Spaceloft line blankets, during interior renovations, reduces the space occupied by the "insulation package".

Industry

The ease of cutting typical of Pyrogel blankets allows the most varied industrial and thermotechnical applications. Its performances remain unchanged even when the material is subjected to extreme working conditions.

Linea Spaceloft

Aerogel blanket reinforced with polyethylene terephthalate fibres (PET) and textile-grade fibreglass continuous filament. It’s an aerogel based compact felt produced in 5 and 10 mm thicknesses with a bulk density of 150 Kg/m³. The material is hydrophobic, but it preserves a high breathability. The superior flexibility combined with an excellent compression resistance make this material particularly suitable for use in building and universal applications with maximum operating temperatures of 200°C. It's particularly suitable for vertical and horizontal opaque structures coating when used within cavity walls or internal counterwalls. Spaceloft line aerogel blankets can be cut using cutters, scissors and punching machines. The extremely low thickness allows the product to be easily conformed to complex shapes, tight curvatures, and spaces with restricted access.

Linea Pyrogel

Aerogel blanket reinforced with fibreglass continuous filament. It’s an aerogel impregnated geosynthetic nonwoven felt with a bulk density of 180 Kg/m³ and available in a 5 and 10 mm thicknesses. The temperature range is wider with a maximum operating temperature of 650°C. Pyrogel line aerogels are suitable for heavy duty use in both mechanical and thermal applications with mid to high temperatures. There is also a more performant pyrogel, known as Pyrogel XTF, which has been specially formulated to provide exceptional protection against fire and it's mainly used by industries in thermotechnical applications. Pyrogel XT and XTF can be easily cut using scissors, hand cutters and cutting blades, this allows to shape the product according to different application needs.

Linea Cryogel

Aerogel blanket reinforced with polyethylene terephthalate or polyester fibres and fibreglass continuous filament. It’s an aerogel impregnated geosynthetic nonwoven felt with a bulk density of 130 Kg/m³ and available in a 5 and 10 mm thicknesses; Cryogel "Z" version comes with a factory-applied integral vapour barrier made by aluminium foils. The temperature range goes from –200°C to +200°C, but the upper limit for the "Z" version is set at +90°C. Cryogel is designed for use on mid to low temperature applications such as industrial cryogenic fields and cold chains throughout the logistics starting from cold storage units to end up with cryogenic transport systems. Cyrogel can be easily cut using scissors, hand cutters and cutting blades, this allows to shape the product according to different application needs.
